Set on 80 acres of tranquil land conveniently located just west of Fayetteville, GHR exists to provide a safe haven where individuals and couples can find rest, restoration, and freedom in Christ. We are dedicated to enabling spiritual growth for anyone seeking to grow in their walk with the Lord, providing the stillness and space necessary to hear His voice and embrace His best for your life.

At GHR, we have a specific heart for those on the front lines of ministry. We recognize the heavy burden carried by missionaries and ministers of the Gospel, and we serve as a dedicated place of refreshment and revitalization for them. By providing these leaders with a space to be poured back into and a chance to focus on their own spiritual walk, we ensure they have the renewed strength and clarity to continue their vital work in the Kingdom.
Our VISION
Our Vision: A Multi-Phase Roadmap for Restoration
To fully realize our mission of providing a safe haven for healing and spiritual growth, GHR is embarking on a three-phase development plan. This journey will transform the 80-acre property into a sanctuary for individuals, couples, and ministry leaders.
Phase 1: Strengthening the Foundation & Immediate Impact
Our first priority is to prepare our existing infrastructure to begin serving the community. This phase focuses on safety, accessibility, and the ability to begin ministry work immediately.
Barn Renovation: We are updating the barn to meet all current safety codes and to make modifications to better serve groups including expanded restroom facilities.
Day Retreats: These updates will allow us to begin hosting and accommodating small day retreats, providing an immediate space for rest, restoration, and spiritual growth.
Infrastructure & Access: We are expanding the access driveway to serve increased traffic and running dedicated utilities to build the foundation for future growth.
Phase 2: Expanding Capacity for Community
The second phase is dedicated to increasing our capacity to host larger groups and providing diverse spaces for reflection and fellowship.
Conference Center & Dining Hall: We will construct a new, large-scale building featuring a conference center for teaching and a dining hall for shared meals.
Larger Group Hosting: This infrastructure will allow us to handle larger groups for day retreats, significantly expanding the reach of our mission.
Prayer Lake & Chapel: We will develop a peaceful lake as a centerpiece for the property, featuring a Prayer Chapel overlooking the water and wooded walking trails with benches for private reflection.
Phase 3: Deep Restoration & Overnight Stays
The final phase focuses on multi-day retreats by providing on-site accommodations for those who need extended time away.
Dedicated Lodging: We will construct lodging facilities designed specifically for:
Men’s and Women’s Retreats: Group housing that fosters brotherhood and sisterhood.
Couples’ Retreats: Private, peaceful units designed to help marriages find revitalization.
Enhanced Grounds: Further expansion of walking trails to ensure every guest can find a secluded spot for refreshment.
